Place2Be

Arts & Minds

Place2Be is a children’s mental health charity providing support to schools and in 2022 they held a fundraising gala in the famous RIBA building to build awareness around how the power of art helps children explore their thoughts around mental health.

I worked in a small team to create an identity for the event which centred around the idea of art opening minds, using an ‘M’ monogram to represent the mind, which can flex as a device to hold anything from
type to art itself.

Custom ‘M’ monogram and use of FS Benjamin pays tribute to typography in and around the RIBA building, bringing the venue to life in the identity.

Luo Medical

Cannabis

Luo is a new human-centric & credible Medical Cannabis brand that helps people find relief from chronic pain, anxiety or depression.

As part of a small team, we crafted a science led identity which focuses on lighting the way to relief in a world of the unknown where there is still a stigma attached to the use of
medical cannabis.

We established a system that is born from the brand mark, the guiding light, which can flex in a number of different ways.

GoStudent

GoStudent is a start-up online tutoring service which matches students to their perfect tutor.

In a short amount of time I helped evolve their identity, reimagining their scroll logo to create the ‘journey device’ which symbolises the first steps of the learning journey that can take
you to an unexpected place and unlock
your potential.

Garden

Garden is a personal project I work on with my partner & illustrator, @poppy.illustrator. This project is our space for creative experimentation, expression and curiosities, as
well as an outlet for our love of streetwear.

The lack of garden at our flat in Hackney means we have to turn to the urban landscape of the city to play, create, explore, relax and come together with friends, which therefore inspires much of what we do.

This project has led to us designing, illustrating, art directing and releasing a small collection of clothes, accessories and prints, a process which included setting up a make-shift photography studio in our living room and putting on a shoot with our close circle of friends.
